Young Person Services
We provide nature-based activities and work experience for young people to help enhance their education and personal development. Our programmes are designed to foster personal growth, develop employability skills and focus on improving health and well-being in refreshing outdoor settings.
We welcome young people of all abilities with varied learning preferences and life experiences to help them realise their self-worth and potential. Young people who use our services may:
have been diagnosed with a learning disability or recognise they have learning difficulties
have challenges to their skills and function from injury, disease, or illness
have a visual impairment, hearing difficulty or loss
have been given a diagnosis of, or self-identify as being on the autism spectrum
have been given a diagnosis of or self-identify their behaviours as ADHD
be experiencing emotional distress or trauma, or have been given a mental health diagnosis
Nature’s pathway to wellbeing
Our outdoor activities are pathways to enhanced learning, health and wellbeing. By stepping outside conventional indoor settings, participants connect with nature, enabling them to discover a calming space for enjoyment, developing self-reliance and personal growth.
Flexible accredited learning
As an approved AQA provider, we offer young people the opportunity to achieve formal recognition for their progress through the AQA Unit Award Scheme. Leaners can build a portfolio of certificates, developing a record of their skills, knowledge, and experience. This flexible approach boosts confidence, engagement, and motivation, supporting progress on their learning journey.
Working towards employability
We integrate employability training within our activities, supporting young people to take part in a wide variety of projects in local areas. Participants have the opportunity to develop skills and community connections, particularly through environmental conservation efforts. These activities cultivate practical skills and enhance teamwork and problem-solving abilities essential for the workplace.
